Sprinkler System Startups in Denver and Boulder
Spring is the time to get your sprinkler system turned on and running the way it should. During a startup, I work from the shutoff to the backflow, bring the system online safely, look over the mainline, run the zones, check for leaks, and make sure the coverage looks right. If something seems off, I’ll point it out, we can talk it through, and you’ll get clear pricing before anything moves forward. The goal is simple: get your system ready for the season without surprises.
How my startup process works:
Turn on shutoff valve or stop and waste valve and inspect for leaks, or signs of aging.
Turn on and inspect backflow/vacuum breaker.
Pressurize mainline
Turn on every zone. Does it turn on? Does it turn off? Are any heads broken or leaking? Are there any lateral line/underground breaks? How is the coverage?
Set your sprinkler timer. If you know how you want it set, let me know. If you’re happy, then I’m happy!
Talk to you! I can provide pricing for any necessary repairs, or potential upgrades or changes you might want.

What I look for:
Does it turn on and off?
If it turns on and off, does it leak?
Is there proper head to head coverage?
Is the precipitation rate appropriate?
How can I “declutter” or optimize this system
